The EMBRACE Project is awarded a workshop session at the prestigious European Week of Regions and Cities 2022 event
The EMBRACE project team has been successful in being awarded a workshop session at the prestigious international conference, the European Week of Regions and Cities (EWRC) 2022. The title of the workshop is: Empowering Youth Through Responsive and Responsible Corporate Social Entrepreneurship (CSE): Building Future Leaders. It will be a digital session (on-line) on 13/10/22 from 11:30 to 13:00 (Brussels time) and will last maximum 90 minutes. See the following for more details.
The European Week of Regions and Cities (#EURegionsWeek) (https://europa.eu/regions-and-cities/) is the biggest annual Brussels-based event dedicated to cohesion policy. It has grown to become a unique communication and networking platform, bringing together regions and cities from all over Europe, including politicians, administrators, experts and academics. Over the last 19 years, it has done much to promote policy learning and the exchange of good practice. In 2021, the second digital edition, reached a record number of almost 18.000 registered participants and 300 sessions over a week, involving more than 590 partners.

Description: Empowering youth through responsive and responsible Corporate Social Entrepreneurship (CSE): building future leaders addresses the goal of empowering youth to participate in society, business and communities. It achieves this through 3 different tried and tested methodologies and lenses — business, technology and culture. Participants attending the workshop will learn about the importance of merging business, technology and culture to empower youth to be active, responsive and responsible contributors to society and sustainable socioeconomic development.
The session showcases 2 best-practice educational programmes and an industry Case Study focused on training a new generation of future leaders, The session will generate discussion on how recent graduates and young people can be supported and empowered in their journey to drive societal betterment.
